Experienced Residential Estate Agency Negotiator - Beaminster

The award winning firm, Symonds & Sampson are looking for a full time Negotiator to join their highly successful Beaminster office. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic team player with proven experience, and with the drive and determination necessary to succeed in this environment. This is an exciting role for an experienced agent who either has professional qualifications already or who is looking to attain qualifications and build their career. within an established and highly regarded firm. 

Key responsibilities

  • Dealing effectively with all initial enquiries
  • Diary and data base management
  • Maintaining positive relationships with vendors and buyers
  • Arranging and carrying out viewings, Sales progression, Generating valuations and property sales

Key Skills

  • Pleasant demeanour

Experience

2 years Estate agency experience desirable.

Graduate Surveyor - Wimborne

  • Closing Date: 05 November 2021

We are seeking a Graduate Surveyor to join our busy Rural Professional team in Wimborne, Dorset. The position offers an incredibly varied role enabling the successful candidate to gain wide experience in all aspects of rural surveying. This will include but not be limited to:

  • Planning, diversification schemes, development and strategic planning
  • Purchase and sale of rural property
  • BPS and Countryside Stewardship
  • Landlord and Tenant related issues for both landlords and tenants
  • Valuation for banks, private individuals, probate and general tax planning
  • Compensation, telecoms and utilities installation work
  • General professional advice for rural clients

This is a diverse and interesting role offering exciting career prospects for the right candidate.  

Requirements of the role:

  • Full UK Driving license
  • Completion of an accredited degree course to enable entrance onto the APC rural pathway.

Rural Surveyor - Axminster

We are seeking a Qualified Rural Surveyor to join our Rural Professional team in Axminster, Devon. The role offers the opportunity for an individual to become part of a team while growing an area of their own expertise.  This is an opportunity where the right candidate can develop and progress their career to the highest level.

Working with the Partner, the successful applicant will undertake work types including but not limited to:

  • Valuations for banks, private individuals, probate and general tax planning
  • Planning for general development of residential schemes, agricultural occupancy houses, farm buildings and diversification
  • General professional advice for rural clients
  • BPS and countryside stewardship
  • Boundary disputes
  • Farm & Land sales, letting and purchases
  • Compensation claims, utilities and telecoms

Requirements of the Role:

  • RICS qualified
  • Registered Valuer

  • 1+ years PQE
  • Qualified member of the CAAV

Residential Lettings Negotiator - Axminster & Bridport

  • Closing Date: 23 October 2021

An exciting opportunity for a Lettings Negotiator to join our successful offices in Axminster and Bridport. This fast-paced and varied role will be ideally suited to somebody with drive and enthusiasm for their work, and who can demonstrate self-motivation, ability to use their own initiative, to multi-task and most of all to keep smiling.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meet with clients and assess their particular needs
  • Register and manage clients and applicants
  • Arrange and attend viewings around homes
  • Canvass for new business opportunities
  • Respond to queries via e-mail and telephone
  • Preparing tenancy agreements and correspondence

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Computer literacy with good knowledge of word, outlook and excel
  • Good time management and ability to prioritise workloads
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills
  • Confident manner with clients and the team
  • An understanding of confidentiality issues and the use of discretion
  • Full driving license and use of own vehicle

EXPERIENCE Previous lettings experience desirable but not essential, however experience in a similar public facing role essential
