Charity & Fundraising

Symonds & Sampson' Charitable Activities

Every year, as a firm, we support charities selected by our staff. Most recently, these have included RABI, YFW Blood Bikes, the local branches of Mind, Future Roots, Wessex Heartbeat, The Royal Bournemouth Hospital Foundation, Go Girls to name but a few.

We hold a number of fundraising events and join in challenges each year, encouraging staff, clients and friends to have fun whilst raising funds for the invaluable work that the charities do. You'll find details of any events in the pipeline on our events page.

Generally, our policy is to invite staff who wish to do so to nominate a charity to support each year. Suitable charities are then shortlisted (if necessary), and staff cast a vote to select which one(s) are chosen. Sometimes, however, other factors dictate those selected, such as a retiring partner being invited to nominate a charity, or a charity nominated in memory of a staff member.  As a rule, therefore, regrettably, we cannot consider proposals received directly from charities.
