Symonds & Sampson is delighted to welcome Barnaby Fry and Patrick to its Survey & Design department. The appointments are made in response to an increase in demand for building surveying, design and construction-related professional services throughout the region.Partner, James Shapland says ‘We are seeing considerable growth in demand from existing and new clients in both traditional and new property-related areas, and Barnaby and Patrick bring skills, experience and knowledge to the team. We will support them both as new members of the team, but also as they undertake the RICS APC programme and become qualified Chartered Surveyors.’
Barnaby joined the department in November 2023 having worked in the industry locally. He works from the Wimborne office, covering the whole Symonds & Sampson region, and will be building on his considerable knowledge, skills and understanding.
Patrick has recently joined the department and brings with him a particular interest and understanding of the energy efficiency of residential property. He is particularly keen on studying the ‘health’ of a given building, using collected data to do so, and an area of expertise which will be particularly useful in much of the survey and design work that we do. Patrick will work from our Sturminster Newton Office and cover the whole Symonds & Sampson region.
James is also proud to announce that Richard Mogg has been promoted to Head of Building Surveying at Symonds & Sampson. Richard has been a key member of the team since he rejoined the firm in 2020, and the promotion is in direct recognition of his commitment to the development of the department.
Find contact details for James below and visit our Survey & Design pages for more information on the services they can offer. We are currently working on other exciting developments within the department to increase the services we can offer clients throughout our region, so please do watch this space for further announcements very soon.
