Team S&S at Yeovil Half Marathon

Team Symonds & Sampson at the Yeovil Half Marathon 2026

Congratulations to ‘Team S&S’ who ran the Yeovil Half Marathon on Sunday!
 
Cheryl, Eloise, Meredith, Sarah, Andrew and Pete all did incredibly well, overcoming the bitter wind, hills, aches and pains to complete the course.
 
Thoughts shared immediately after the run included:
  • Eloise: "I'll stick to 10Ks going forwards, but a new PB by 6 seconds!"
  • Andrew: "I was thinking of a full in May, but at Mile 10 today, I certainly didn't fancy another 16!"
Meanwhile, Sarah set a new PB by 7 minutes, and, despite sustaining an injury at mile 8, Meredith still managed to get home in a time of 2.11!

Despite his best efforts, it doesn’t sound as though chief motivator and marshal on the day, Jeremy managed to convince the others to take up the challenge of the London marathon!

We're proud sponsors of the Yeovil Marathon, and the event this year included a 10K and mini mile. If you would like to support our runners, who participated in aid of Prostate Cancer UK and Macmillan Cancer Support, donations would be gratefully received here.

Well done to all the participants, marshals and organisers, and we look forward to 2027.
