Symonds & Sampson have launched a substantial development site to the market on the outskirts of Stalbridge. The site extends to 20.742 hectares (51.25 acres),11.314 of which is allocated to development and 9.467 hectares to BNG.Planning permission has been granted for 160 dwellings on the land, which will be accessed from Station Road. The planning conditions require that 40% of the allocation be for affordable homes and that two hectares be used for a primary school, landscaping, and a sustainable drainage system.

The attractive site lies on the eastern edge of the popular market town in the heart of the Blackmore Vale, renowned for its bustling high street with established and many family-run shops and businesses, including a post office, butcher, hairdresser, dentist, as well as an excellent, independent local supermarket. The larger towns of Blandford Forum, Shaftesbury, and Sherborne are within easy reach, and Gillingham and Templecombe have mainline stations to London Waterloo (approx. 2 hours).
The site is for sale by Informal Tender with a Guide of £6,000,000, with tenders invited by midday on 17 October. For further information, please click here for further information, or contact Edward Dyke or Will Cairns at our Sturminster Newton office on 01258 472244.
