Symonds & Sampson have launched a substantial strategic development site for up to 140 dwellings to the market on the outskirts of Templecombe.The site has a resolution to grant Outline Planning Permission subject to the signing of the S106 Agreement (reference 22/03560/OUT) by Somerset Council for up to 140 dwellings (use class C3) on the 10.54 hectares (26.06 acres),11.314 site which is accessed from Bowden Road. The proposal also includes public open space, landscape planting and biodiversity enhancements, community use (flexible use class E, F1 and/or F2), and associated infrastructure. Biodiversity net gain is provided within the site area.
The attractive site lies on the southern edge of Templecombe, just under half a mile from the village centre and local amenities, including a local store, post office, primary school and nursery, doctor’s surgery and a mainline station on the Exeter to London Waterloo line). The A303 trunk road lies just 6.5 kilometres to the north, The larger towns of Wincanton, Sherborne, Yeovil and Salisbury are within easy reach.
