We are thrilled to announce that Harriet Andrews has passed her APC exams and is now a fully-fledged Chartered Surveyor working within our Rural and Professional department. So impressed was the assessor in her interview that he took the time to write to Chris Powell afterwards, saying, ‘She should be very proud of herself. One of the best candidates I have seen in a decade of doing this. Top five without a question. She was phenomenal in interview. Credit to herself and Symonds & Sampson’.Harriet spent her placement year in our Yeovil office before returning to Harper Adams University to complete her Degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management, which she passed with Honours in 2024.
Since returning to the firm last year, she has undertaken a wide variety of professional work including valuation, planning, farm agency and rural grant and subsidy applications within the Rural and Professional team at our Burraton House office.
Additionally, she is a valued member of our Agricultural Auctions department, regularly taking to the rostrum at farm and dispersal sales across the region.
