Why Symonds & Sampson

Buyers and sellers alike are attracted to the speed, simplicity, and security of selling land and property by auction. The legal pack for a property is prepared in advance of the auction, thus enabling the exchange of contracts on the fall of the hammer. Completion follows on a specified date (usually 28 days).

Our RICS and NAVA Propertymark qualified agents value the relationships they build with both buyers and sellers. Our auctions are live streamed over the internet so bidders can join the auction in person, online, by submitting a written proxy, or by telephone.

Our clients include public bodies, executors, trusts and charities, housing associations, leading banks and building societies, local authorities, property companies and private individuals, whilst we have had bidders joining our auctions from as far afield as New Zealand and the United States.

Symonds & Sampson’s auctions are not to be confused with ‘best bids’ modern method sales with no more than agreement of value at closure. Contracts are not exchanged on the fall of a hammer, therefore neither seller nor buyer can enjoy the peace of mind of having a legally binding contract in place.
