 | Duncan BirdGraduate Rural Surveyor | Sherborne Duncan joined Symonds & Sampson in 2025 as a Graduate Rural Surveyor in our Sherborne Office. After gaining a BA from the University of Warwick and an MA from the University of Bristol, Duncan started a career in education. Enjoying many extraordinary moments inspiring students to learn, even being nominated for Teacher of the Year, he eventually decided it was time for a career change. This brought him to study Orchard Design, and to gain an MSc from the Royal Agricultural University, and then to join Symonds & Sampson. He is gaining experience in various aspects of the professional department, including valuation, planning, and rural grant and subsidy applications.
