The UK Equestrian Industry Is Riding High in 2025

Published: 18/07/2025 By Eloise Maclean

Following the successes at the Paris Olympics last year, where Great Britain picked up medals in every equestrian discipline, including Gold for team show jumping and team eventing, the GB athletes have kept on riding high into 2025.

At the recent Bicton International Horse Trials, proudly supported by Symonds & Sampson, Laura Collett and London 52 delivered a record-breaking dressage performance to guide Team GB to victory in the opening leg of the 2025 FEI Eventing Nations Cup.

The UK has a thriving equestrian industry and international success on home soil, like Team GB’s Bicton win, heightens demand for top-tier yards and equestrian properties. Symonds & Sampson are active in this sector, and specialise not only in agency of equestrian property, but also in professional consultancy and advice for valuations, planning and tenancies.

Many of our experienced RICS-registered rural valuers and surveyors also have personal equestrian experience and actively ride and compete in various equestrian disciplines, giving them a deeper insight into the value of particular facilities, such as floodlit arenas, secure and sufficient turn-out paddocks, and access to nearby outriding, training and competition venues.

From acre paddocks to established yards and businesses, our committed team are on hand to help with all your equestrian property requirements.
