Happy At Home

According to Rightmove’s ‘Happy at Home’ study this year, the most important contributors to happiness were feeling a sense of pride, belonging and community. Access to green space and nature is also important to residents, with those living in a rural area near a national park, or an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, more likely to feel happy where they live.

For the first time, it was a London borough taking the top spot – Richmond upon Thames is after all an exceptional place to live!  However, it won’t be a surprise to learn that south-west towns featured, with Weymouth (pictured) & Dorchester amongst the highest-ranked towns in the country.

Our residential agents across the region recognise the factors buyers are looking for when searching for property. We are privileged to live and work in an area rich with some of the finest outside space in the country, interspersed with bustling market towns and villages. We have a register of applicants from near and far, actively looking for their dream property, so if you are considering a move in 2024, please do get in touch with your nearest office.
