It is with great sadness that Symonds & Sampson announces the death of Calton Stockley.Calton has worked with us for 21 years and started in Dorchester, then moved to Wimborne and Yeovil before finding his rightful position as a development land and new homes expert.
He was very knowledgeable, good company and with a wicked sense of humour, and his loss will be deeply felt by everyone who worked with him.
Our Head of Agency, Jon Summers, adds, “I first met Calton shortly after I began my career in estate agency over 30 years ago. In those days, the industry was far more sociable, with agents regularly meeting for drinks after work and coming together for social events, especially at Christmas, when many lasting memories were made and are still fondly shared today.
"Calton was always great company - warm, sociable, and full of character. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him."
Our hearts go out to Calton’s wife Hilary, children, and grandchildren. We have lost a truly great guy from Symonds & Sampson.
