Top results at our July property auction

Symonds & Sampson have held some sizable property auctions but the sale on 23 July was the largest of the year so far and returned the second highest sale total in the firm’s history.

Auctioneer Mark Lewis said that the live stream sale took over three hours, with lots sold in Dorset, Devon, Wiltshire, Somerset, Hampshire and London.  “I was very proud of the whole team but especially Marlise Jolliffe and Meredith Holmes who worked tirelessly to get the sale ready. We had over 250 registered bidders, 39 telephone bidders and 11 proxy bids so it was a very busy day and some of the prices achieved were quite outstanding.

“It was with great pleasure that we were able to welcome Graham Barton to the firm recently, and he took to the rostrum for the last 4 lots – 3 of which were in Wembley. The hammer prices on these lots were astonishing”
