Symonds & Sampson have 2 property showcase events in London this Spring, Richard Taylor explains how this extended marketing opportunity could help sell your property.
The London Office, situated in the heart of the West End, provides an integral and crucial connection for Symonds & Sampson’s properties with London, The Home Counties and International buyers. It provides a valuable link with 38 of the finest independent estate agents across the country with a network of over 220 offices within the UK, and 89 affiliated overseas offices. Dedicated and experienced staff within the office can advise those looking to buy or rent in the area, and carry all of our property particulars.
To assist potential buyers searching for property from afar, we hold exclusive popular Property Forums twice yearly in the TLO offices. Partners Ross Willmington, Richard Taylor and Residential Manager Peter Grout-Smith will be attending the spring Property Forum on Wednesday, 25th March. All our London and Home County applicants are invited to attend the Forum, where they have the opportunity to meet and discuss their search requirements as well as any property related matters with our experienced and knowledgeable team.
In April, we are exhibiting at the exclusive annual London and Country Property Show, being held at The Chelsea Old Town Hall, King's Road, SW3 on Tuesday, 28th April.
Both Forums and the Show, whilst geared towards London and its environs, have attracted applicants who have flown in from across Europe. Many have commented how much they appreciate the opportunity to have a knowledgeable, relaxed and friendly discussion with residential experts, be it for new build, investment, holiday home or principal home without their needing to travel down to Wessex.
Figures published by the Office for National Statistics, show that the property market was already rebounding before Boris Johnson's election triumph, with growth nationally accelerating to 2.2% year-on-year in November, up from 1.3% the previous month. Bob Bickerstaff MRICS, Director of The London Office reports seeing more sellers coming to the market, which combined with the pent-up demand, is leading to a much healthier property market. “Assuming everything goes smoothly during the transition period, and the economic environment remains resilient, we would expect to see house price growth in London strengthen this year and for the market to return to business as usual. This strengthening of the London market is good news for the country market and we have already noticed an increase in enquiries for properties outside London from those who have now been able to finally sell their London property."
