Strengthened with Five New Faces

October 2017

Symonds & Sampson, the award winning firm of chartered surveyors, have strengthened and expanded their business with the addition of five experienced estate agents.

Strengthened with Five New Faces

Tim Bennett will be opening the firm’s latest newest office in Ilminster. Over a period of 30 years Tim has gained a wealth of experience having worked from the very bottom as a trainee to senior management positions, specialising in residential sales, business development, customer care and team development throughout Somerset.

Georgina Garrett will be working with Tim in the new office. She has twenty years estate agency experience and has worked in Yeovil for the past twelve years. Georgie lives in a village just outside Ilminster.

Dave West is another career estate agent, although he did play for Liverpool FC many years ago. He is well known in the Weymouth and Dorchester area but has worked in Bridport for many years. Dave will be working with Peter Grout-Smith as the residential sales manager in Poundbury which releases partner Jon Summers to move into a new role as director of agency at Symonds & Sampson.

Neal Wilson is the new manager at Wimborne and is Dorset born and bred. After many years in a larger company he has ‘seen the light’ and joined the progressive East Dorset team.

Chris Drake is the residential manager in our Sherborne office. He has worked in estate agency for five years and is already making his mark with the firm.

Partner and head of agency Mark Lewis said “We are very excited with these appointments as they strengthen and improve the successful teams that we have established. A new office is always a leap of faith but we feel very fortunate to have Tim and Georgina as the very best agents in the region with the support of Melissa Denslow a local and experienced residential assistant.”
