New payments are available to farmers in the River Tone and Parrett catchments (including the Yeo) to improve water quality and biodiversity.
If you fall within one of the catchment areas, you could be eligible to register to provide nature options for public and private sectors looking to offset phosphate levels. This is an opportunity for farmers to earn a financial return by selling multiple environmental benefits to a range of willing buyers through the EnTrade marketplace.
Option prescriptions are yet to be finalised and competitive payment rates are to be decided, however registering an interest does not commit you to proceeding with the process.
