Head of Agency Jon Summers summarises the steps being taken by Symonds & Sampson to maintain our service to clients, within safe-distancing guidelines.
At Symonds and Sampson, we have always embraced modern technology, blending the benefits with our traditional core services has underpinned us as the leading property firm in the region. The COVID-19 outbreak has created many different challenges for property businesses, and although the telephone remains our biggest method of communication, virtual meetings have become the norm over the past few weeks, allowing us to continue to serve our clients within government safe-distancing guidelines, and offering professional advice from experienced agents.
Face to face meetings have been put on hold, including property viewings with prospective buyers’ but that has not stopped our dynamic team engaging with sellers and buyers to generate interest in property. Our recent online auctions have been very successful, we have just agreed a sale on a property in which the client met a prospective buyer on line and conducting a virtual tour of their home. Our lettings department remain active, having had the foresight to produce virtual property tours prior to lockdown which has enabled them to arrange a number of ‘essential staff’ to move safely within government guidelines.
Traditional methods and face to face contact will always trump remote working, there is no substitute to viewing properties in person but for the moment we remain at the cutting edge of the market.
If you are considering selling or letting your property, please do not hesitate to contact us. Our staff are working remotely and would be more than happy to have an initial discussion with you. We can even arrange a virtual Market Appraisal of your home.
