Autumn is arriving early and with a bang for our On-Site Sales team, with 9 sales on the calendar over the coming weeks.
Tomorrow, a fine herd of 108 Fleckvieh x and Holstein x Dairy Cattle & Followers will be sold on behalf of NE & SE Legg & Sons (ceasing milk production), the sale to take place at Frome Livestock Auctions for convenience of sale.
This sale is swiftly followed by two genuine farm dispersal sales in Devon, the first on Thursday at Membury, where a collection of farm machinery including a Claas Liner 330S Rake, Einbock Grass Harrow together with various livestock equipment & miscellaneous items are to be sold on behalf of Mrs A G Tristram. (Retiring from livestock farming)
On 5th September, our auctioneers will be at Cotleigh, where a tractor, landrovers, farm machinery, livestock and gardening equipment go under the hammer, along with a small sheep flock and an eclectic range of surplus household furniture and miscellany. The sale is held on behalf of Mr James Rushbrook, Symonds & Sampson having sold the farm.
In addition to 3 further genuine farm dispersal sales in September and October, Symonds & Sampson are holding 2 collective sales, one to be held of the Isle of Wight showground on 26th September, and the popular annual Collective Charity Auction of Vintage Tractors & Machinery to be held at Rylands Farm, Holnest, Sherborne, Dorset on 3rd October.
The final standing crop sale of the year will be held on 8th September, where standing maize on farms throughout Dorset and Somerset will come under the hammer. To enter crops or for more information, contact the team.
