Residential Sales Negotiator - Beaminster Office

The award winning firm of chartered surveyors, Symonds & Sampson, are seeking a new full time negotiator to join their highly successful Beaminster office. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic team player, with drive and determination who is keen to develop their career. Excellent communication skills, computer knowledge and a clean driving license are essential. Experience preferred.

Key responsibilities

  • Dealing effectively with email and telephone enquiries
  • Diary and Database management
  • Maintaining good relationships with vendors and buyers
  • Booking and carrying out viewings
  • Managing sales
  • Generating valuations and property sales

Key Skills

  • Pleasant demeanour
  • Effective self-motivator
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Computer literate
  • Car driver
  • Good time management and ability to prioritise work load

Experience  Estate agency or sales experience preferred but not essential as training will be given.

Rewards

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
  • Holiday starting at 28 days per annum including bank holidays and increasing with long service
  • Hours are full time and include some Saturday (9-1pm) in four
  • Work based pension scheme

The Office  The Beaminster office is situated just off the Market Square, close to the heart of Beaminster.  It is a thriving office, and staff our proud to be a part of the vibrant local community.  An excellent range of shops and eateries are close to hand.

Junior Administrator - Property Management Department

Symonds & Sampson are looking for a Full time Junior Administrator to join our Property Management Department based in Poundbury, Dorchester.  The ideal candidate will be organised, flexible, cheerful and empathetic in this varied and rewarding role. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Maintaining good relations with Landlords, Tenants and Contractors 
  • Handling Telephone enquiries
  • Diary and Database management
  • Responding to emails 
  • Raising works orders and processing invoices 
  • Managing and booking property visits

KEY SKILLS 

  • Good level of customer service skills - verbal and written
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work within a team
  • High level of computer proficiency including Microsoft Office

EXPERIENCE

Property management experience desirable but not essential as training will be given
