Rural Surveyor - Yeovil

Symonds & Sampson LLP are seeking full or part time applications for a qualified Rural Surveyor to join their team in Yeovil. This diverse and interesting position offers an incredibly varied role enabling the successful candidate to gain a wide experience in all aspects of rural surveying. Flexible working considered.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • RICS qualifications
  • Full driving license and use of a vehicle
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability, self-motivation and time management
  • Computer literacy with good knowledge of word, outlook and excel

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • CAAV qualified

Trainee Residential Negotiator - Yeovil

An exciting opportunity for a trainee Negotiator to join our successful sales team in Yeovil. This opportunity would suit a self-starting, highly motivated individual. This role offers career progression and the chance to excel with one of the region’s leading agents.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meet with clients and assess their particular needs
  • Register and manage clients and applicants
  • Arrange and attend viewings around homes
  • Canvass for new business opportunities
  • Respond to queries via e-mail and telephone
  • Liaise with solicitors
  • Sales progression

ESSENTIAL SKILLS 

  • Good time management and ability to prioritise workloads
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent telephone manner and client facing skills
  • Excellent communication skills - must be capable of building and maintaining good relationships with team members, other colleagues, clients and agents
  • Confident manner with clients and the team
  • Flexible approach to work and hours undertaken
  • An understanding of confidentiality issues and the use of discretion

EXPERIENCE  Sales experience preferred but not essential

REWARDS                          

  • Salary: A company Basic salary + commission                  
  • Full time role: 8.45-5.30 5 full days a week including a Saturday, 1 half day a week 8:45 – 1pm

Weekend Sales Support - Dorchester

Symonds & Sampson are looking for weekend sales support to join our thriving Residential office in Dorchester town centre.  This customer service role involves face to face and telephone booking of appointments, taking information and spotting the opportunities for new business. The role will combine working in the office, and carrying out viewings.  

LOCATION Dorchester, Dorset 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Booking appointments
Diary Management
Excellent communication with clients 
Database management 
Generating new business


KEY SKILLS 

Good telephone manner 
Excellent people skills
Good time keeping 
Full UK Driving license 
Local knowledge of the area and experience in selling and buying of houses is desirable but not essential 


REWARDS 

Salary - A competitive salary dependent on experience and skills 
Holiday - starting at 28 days per year (equivalent of) including bank holidays and increasing with long service 
Hours - Saturday 9am-1pm plus appointments 
Pension - Work based pension scheme
