Symonds & Sampson - Mark Lewis
Mark was born in Devon but moved to Sturminster Newton Dorset when he was 2 years old and now lives in a village near Sherborne.
Educated in Dorset he then gained a diploma in Estate Management from the Royal Agricultural College at Cirencester. He spent a short time with a firm of auctioneers in Cheshire before returning to Sturminster Newton to work for senior & Godwin where his father was Senior Partner.
Becoming a partner of Symonds & Sampson in 1990 he headed the farm dispersal sales department and was principal livestock auctioneer at Yeovil Market. Mark now heads the residential department and is the firm's chief property auctioneer.
Away from the office his interests include cooking, renovating his 16th Century house, hockey, cricket and walking in the glorious Dorset countryside with his wife, two children and labrador.
