Property Valuations

Valuations of property are required for a range of reasons including purchase, sale and disposals, secured lending, taxation and insurance. The owner sometimes requests the valuation, but more often instructions are received from solicitors, accountants, banks and building societies.

Valuations are invariably required for probate, tax planning including lifetime gifts, partnership dissolution, or in connection with the creation of new businesses.

Symonds & Sampson have professionally qualified valuation surveyors with considerable experience in negotiating against the Inland Revenue, who can advise on the likely level of settlement prior to undertaking negotiations on behalf of clients. More importantly, we have considerable experience in undertaking tax planning by joining with clients' other professional advisors, including solicitors and accountants.
