Emigrating Farmer enjoys good Dispersal Sales
When Neil Cromey came to Wynbrook Farm at Milborne Port in 2000, he did not envisage leaving the farm for many years but he and his family are now emigrating to New Zealand and Symonds & Sampson enjoyed two very good sales selling all of his cows and equipment.
The first sale took place on 13th June where 61 Holstein Fresian, Brown Swiss, MRI dairy cows and in-calf heffers were sold. The privately recorded herd showed an average yield of 6000 kg per cow and had never had a case of BSE. Top price on the day was £1,092 (Brown Swiss).
On Saturday 24th June in blazing sunshine the farm machinery was dispersed with a large crowd attending at the sale from all over the South of England. Top price was a Case International 1986 four wheel drive tractor selling for £3,450.
Symonds and Sampson wish Neil Cromey and his family every happiness and success in their new venture abroad.
