Richard Miller
Contact: Tel: 01305 264172 Email MeRichard was born on a mixed farm at Askerswell in West Dorset where he became well grounded in the ways of the land before deciding to pursue a career in rural surveying.
He studied at the Royal Agricultural College at Cirencester and then worked in Cornwall for a couple of years, qualifying as a member of the RICS and as a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers.
A chance to return to Dorset came with a job in Symonds & Sampson's Dorchester office where he has obtained a great deal of experience as a traditional land agent. His work includes rural estate management, farm and property sales, Landlord and Tenant work, compensation, planning and development. He can, when necessary, deal with DEFRA bureaucracy. He also has experience in urban estate management and commercial and residential development. Richard became a partner in 2005.
Richard now lives to the east of Dorchester with his wife Mandy. When not working he is often to be found with fishing rod, cricket bat or hockey stick to hand.
