Contact: Tel: 01305 751974 Email MeAndrew moved to West Dorset as a teenager in 1975 and returned permanently to the Beaminster area 20 years ago. After a number of years in the wine trade, Andrew turned to accountancy and qualified as MAAT in 1990, joining Symonds & Sampson two years later.
At that time, the firm had four offices, thirty employees and two computers and Andrew has thoroughly enjoyed his involvement in its rapid subsequent growth and development. Besides keeping the accounts department as efficient as possible throughout a period of rapid change, his principal concerns have been the introduction of technology across the firm and the ever-increasing tide of red tape and compliance issues.
His main challenges outside the office are competing annually in the Inferno ski-race in Switzerland and attempting to keep his teenage children in some sort of order. He also enjoys shooting, sailing and tennis of both disciplines.
