You might be wondering why you are required to type the letters of this distorted image before submitting your form. Online forms are a prime target for spammers. They create programs and "bots" that will scour websites searching for forms to fill out.

This image input, called a CAPTCHA, ensures that a HUMAN is filling out the contact form, and not a computer. It serves as a security measure, minimizing spam for our staff.

Single Payment Scheme (SPS)

Single Payment Scheme (SPS)

Since the Single Payment Scheme (SPS) was introduced our advisors have dealt with a great many enquiries from clients needing help with applications, registering land, claiming special entitlements and transferring entitlements and land. The Agricultural team at Symonds & Sampson LLP has a wealth of practical knowledge on the subject and are on hand to provide advice for farming clients.

Despite the ongoing fiasco with late payments, many farmers are now turning their attention to the longer-term implications of this regime and how it is going to affect the way they run their businesses in the future.

If you would like specific advice on business planning, in light of the SPS, please contact the advisers listed.

If you are interested in trading or transferring entitlements please contact Lester Williams in the Yeovil office.
