It is with some sadness that we shall soon be leaving; I am the fifth generation of my family to have farmed here and as you know the connection with your firm and its predecessors goes back a very long time.

I wanted to commend Symonds & Sampson on their excellent level of service and in particular I want to compliment Lucy on her dealings with both the vendor and myself where she was very fair minded.

It was kind of you to write. As much as such events can be, the process of selling Yonder Cottage was actually fun. This was entirely due to your most excellent staff who were invariably courteous andhelpful whilst injecting a light touch into the proceedings when that was appropriate. I will miss my telephone calls!

We did of course, have most dealings with Lucy who was quite excellent throughout. She gave us great confidence through her thorough professonalism and was most attentive. We are most grateful for that.

We moved in on the 30th June and I can at last write to you to thank you for your kind thoughts and generous gift of free tickets to Wincanton Races. We hope to restore the house to its former glory, and am grateful to you for your kind offer to give us some tips on how to source lime mortars, special paints and plasters for the work ahead. Needless to say we are cock-a-hoop with our new home.

I am a great believer in pen and paper, and wanted to write to thank you and all at Symonds & Sampson for all the effort, thought and time you put into the sale of Manor Farm. It was not an easy decision to make and you made the whole torture so much more palatable.
